A little about me...
I have a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and a minor in Sociology.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and made my way to the midwest for college at the University of Missouri.
While I was at Mizzou I worked with the Women’s Basketball Team as a manager and a game videographer. I also worked as a producer, photojournalist, MMJ, and web producer at KOMU, an NBC affiliate in Jefferson City/Columbia.
After graduating, I found myself in Florida working as a photographer at a local tv station, and then as an associate producer.
I've had the opportunity to work on some amazing stories during my time in news. I was on tarmac when President Obama visited Sarasota and I've interviewed Condoleezza Rice. I also produced the 6:00 p.m. show during the 2012 presidential election (November 6, 2012) and was able to meet Boonville High School's biggest basketball fan.
I really enjoy getting to go out and meet new people, and I am lucky in my job as a journalist to have that opportunity every day.
